Corsica, popular beaches to visit by yacht

RECENT ARTICLES

With around 200 beaches spread across 1,000km of coastline, Corsica is a seaside lovers’ paradise. Picturesque fishing ports and sandy coves lie to the east, pristine dive sites dot all around and achingly decadent beach boutiques and spas wait to be discovered far and wide.

Nearly half of the island, including some of that coastline, is within a protected natural park. This makes for some beautiful beaches, many of which are deservedly popular.

Anchor your luxury yacht at one of the following beaches during your charter vacation and experience the inescapable allure of this beautiful Mediterranean island. To make it easier we’ve picked six of the best white sand beaches to visit on your next superyacht vacation around this stunning destination.

Palombaggia beach

Idyllic beach, conserved and wild, Palombaggia Beach is located 12 kms far from Porto Vecchio down south. Surrounded by bright green umbrella pines and shady dunes, Palombaggia is a large, white and fine sand beach, with some red rocks ending in transparent sea, just like a lagoon. It’s one of the mosts beautiful beaches of Europe, if not the most beautiful. A real treasure !

Le Petit Sperone beach

Situated in a small natural bay, Petit Sperone beach has lovely fine white sand, turquoise blue sea, and a rocky point to either side of the beach covered with plants that provide shelter to the beach.

La Chiesa Beach

Reached by boat from Bonifacio, La Chiesa beach on Lavezzi Island has zero development on it—it’s even bring-your-own-trash bag. It’s a heavily protected island with excellent bird and marine life, soft white sand, and perfectly clear turquoise waters.

Santa Giulia beach

Santa Giulia Beach is fairly considered one of the best beaches not only in Corsica, but also in the world. This has been officially recognized by UNESCO. To the south of Porto Vecchio, several small beaches form a bay with clear turquoise water, fine white sand. There are picturesque rocks around, a small part of the coast is covered by trees.

Lozari beach

The white sand beach of Lozari stretched in the form of a crescent by the blue waters of the Mediterranean Ocean. It has a smooth increase in depth and is surrounded by thick forests and Corsican mountains.

Paragan beach

Paragan beach is a very pretty beach located near Bonifacio. This large cove, sheltered from the wind, offers shallow and turquoise waters. It’s clearly a great place to take a dip in Southern Corsica! From Paragan, you can also walk for 15 minutes (from the left of the beach) to reach Fazzio beach.
