D-Marin undertakes the marina at Pylos
The Hellenic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) of Greece has named D Marinas Hellas SA and Tourism Enterprises Of Messinia JSC as the preferred investor for granting the right to use and develop Pylos Marina for 40 years.
Pylos Marina is located in the central and north-eastern part of the coastal zone of the city of Pylos, in Western Peloponnese, with the capacity to moor around 130 tourist boats from 8m-30m in length.
The total value of the agreement for the development of the marina amounts to €1.5m and includes a one-time payment of €550,000 at the start of the concession plus a percentage of the marina’s annual gross revenue.
It is estimated that the new concessionaire will implement investments of around €15m in the coming years to upgrade the infrastructure and operational capacity of the marina.
The tender file will be submitted to the Court of Auditors for pre-contractual review, while the transaction documents will be signed after approval by the Supreme Court.
