Azimut Grande 26: Innovation and sustainability from one mold
Innovative equipment and a focus on sustainability are traditionally strong features of Azimut Yachts. The Grande 26 Metri is no exception. She offers high-tech solutions, outstanding performance and maximum fuel efficiency, but first things first.
The lightweight and streamlined exterior with a large glass area was designed by Alberto Mancini, who worked closely with the company, while Achille Salvagni designed the interior. Despite its compact size, the 26-meter hull was given a spacious owner’s cabin on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. Separate crew quarters in the bow with direct access to the galley and a partially elevated helm station provide a high degree of privacy.

Among the main features is the ability to store two water toys on board at once, one in the garage and the other on the swim platform, a feature long desired by many owners. The Deck2Deck with a rising transom immediately catches the eye. It fundamentally changes the concept of using the cockpit space. If necessary, the aft part of the main deck can be extended, giving great opportunities to gather all guests in one area – for parties or to spend time in the company of friends. This option is very popular among those who are used to spending time in the cockpit and do not consider it just an entrance to the salon.
The propulsion system chosen is the new ZF POD, which, in combination with MAN engines, gives the vessel the following features: increased maneuverability, more usable space, minimal noise and vibration, and maximum fuel efficiency (up to 15% savings compared to shaft drive).
