Sometimes it happens faster than you think. The Robert Koch Institute has removed a total of ten yacht charter destinations in the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean from the list of risk areas due to low COVID cases. However, a travel warning from the German Foreign Office applies to these countries until October 1. From October 1st, travel warnings for all non-risk destinations will be automatically withdrawn, according to the recently adopted regulation by the federal government.
It should be noted for yacht charter that some countries still have entry restrictions for vacationers. In most cases, a negative Covid-19 test has to be presented upon entry, and another free test is carried out for a yacht charter in Cuba.
KLM, Air France, and Edelweiss are already flying to the Caribbean again, and the Indian Ocean is connected with Edelweiss, Qatar, and Emirates.
Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Cuba, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis (Curacao, Bonaire and Martinique can already be visited in the Caribbean)
