The building of a new French marina has begun
The development of a new marina at Cormeilles-en-Parisis, on the edge of the River Seine in northern France, has commenced under the supervision of the French company Urban Era.
The facility, which is being built as part of a €70 million (US$77 million) project, is anticipated to be finished by 2024.
According to Les Echos, the marina will feature 110 moorings. It will contribute to the municipality’s goal of recruiting a more significant number of sailors in the future years by providing more space for them.
The investment in Cormeilles-en-Parisis will also include the development of around 1,200 additional residential units. The project, which will be built on a 120,000m2 block of land, will also include 3,000m2 of commercial space, which will be built beside the marina.
It is being carried out by a consortium of investors that includes Bouygues Immobilier, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Altarea Cogedim, and Groupe Patrignani.
Cormeilles-en-Parisis is a commune in the Val-d’Oise region of France. According to the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies, the municipality has a population of more than 25,000 people.
