UK marina development is going on at a rapid pace

A new dry stack facility on the River Dart in the United Kingdom is expected to open in March. Premier’s Noss on Dart is already accepting reservations for its dry stack facility, which will open in March 2022 and accommodate 100 boats up to 9m in length.

“Noss on Dart’s reconstruction is rapidly gathering up momentum,” stated General Manager Andy Osman CMM. “Our new floating marina with 232 fully-serviced berths was finished this summer. Our first tenants moved into the first of two new commercial buildings last month. Our new boatyard and dry stack are also scheduled to open in the spring.”

“We are delighted to launch the new dry stack service at Noss on Dart.” Dry stack berthing offers certain established benefits, including decreased maintenance costs, little or no fouling, and a safe, secure storage facility for boats when onshore.”

The fresh new full-service boatyard at Noss on Dart contains a new hoist dock and a 75-tonne hoist for boat lifts, the biggest on the river. The boatyard, which will have deep water access, is also expected to open in the spring of 2022.

Customers may use the Premier Marinas App to request that their boat be launched to the marina seven days a week (subject to a minimum of two hours’ notice and daily tidal limits). A fresh new professional marine forklift will be used to pull yachts off the dry stack gently.
