Paradise On The Mediterranean - The Balearics
The Balearic Islands are an archipelago of islands set like jewels in the azure Mediterranean Sea; from South to North there lie the islands of Formentera, Ibiza, Mallorca, and Menorca. The largest island, Mallorca – ‘Isle of Dreams’, has a varied landscape of mountains and valleys, rocky coves and sandy beaches. The Balearic Islands have around 375 recognized beaches, ranging from fine city and resort beaches with fabulous facilities for leisure and relaxation to tiny coves reachable only by boat; where you can be alone and at peace with the world.
The Balearics Guide
Here you can enjoy in more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year. It is no surprise, then, that this is one of the warmest parts of Europe. Come and sample Spain’s famous tapas, enjoy the sea, the sand, and the sun. The Balearics has beaches to suit every possible taste: long stretches of sand, at the foot of imposing cliffs, with beach bars, hidden behind a pine forest, nudist beaches, family beaches…

MINORCA
Minorca, in the Balearic Islands, is a peaceful, unique natural oasis, packed with contrasts to discover. It is a real paradise, washed by the Mediterranean Sea, that will seduce you with its harmony and diversity.

FORMENTERA
The island has an unusual serrated shape that gives it a long coastline with numerous beaches and coves as well as unique coastal features. From the moment you disembark on Formentera, you can feel the characteristic sense of calm and you will immediately be captivated by its people.

CABRERA
Where locals apparently go to escape is Cabrera, where the landscape has remained unchanged for centuries. Because of its natural abundance of seabirds, rich marine life (dolphins and sea snails) and its indigenous flora and fauna, it is protected as a national park.
