Following a major refit in Greece, the O’Eva superyacht has emerged from the construction shed with a brand new look. The hull of the 60-metre vessel has been transformed to Whisper Grey, while the interior has been revamped in collaboration between Dimitra Agapitou and Studio Massari: “Our aim was to preserve the former Winch design details and tone down the existing grey plaster, inox metal and dark wooden floors,” the shipyard said.
The contemporary design is peppered with amber and dark wood tones in the main and upper saloon, refitted by Massari, with calming grey and blue tones filtering throughout the living areas. Soft fabrics with complementing artwork have been used to create a “welcoming and warm feeling,” said Agapitou.
Accommodation is for 12 guests across eight cabins, each embracing an individual colour palette. A standout feature includes the owner’s cabin that spans half a deck with an adjacent office and a private lounge area boasting 180-degree views, which can also be transformed for additional guests into a double en suite cabin.
For entertaining, the exterior dining area on the upper deck harmonises with the interior, through laterally disappearing circular doors. Her sundeck is home to a Jacuzzi where guests can soak up the 360-degree views, bar and barbecue, plus sunbed arrangements and dining options. Meanwhile, sliding glass panels protect these lounging areas from inclement weather.
“Compared to the rest of the 60m yachts in the market, the volume of interior and exterior areas is also quite impressive. The accommodation areas are comfortable, not only for the guests on board, but there has been a serious ergonomic study also for the crew quarters and movement throughout the boat,” explained project manager and captain George Mousseris.
