Nafpaktos yacht charter Itinerary

1. Athen to Canal Corinth to Trizonia island to Nafpaktos

Dramatic and narrow the Corinth Canal in Greece is an impressive structure and an exciting, important part of a luxury yacht charter traveling from Athens to the stunning Ionian Islands. In addition to being a unique and memorable experience, cruising through the Corinth Canal on a crewed yacht charter is a convenient shortcut to reach the Ionian Islands from Athens.

Trizonia Island is a truly inspiring place and one of the last of its kind. It is the only inhabited island in the entire Gulf of Corinth, located between mainland Greece and the Peloponnese, and constitutes the perfect place to relax. There are almost no cars on the small 2,5 km² island and no hordes of backpackers or overcrowded beaches, typical for many other Mediterranean holiday destinations, interfere with the island’s natural Greek charm.

Built between Antirrio and the mouth of the river Mornos, Nafpaktos is the most beautiful town of the district of Aitoloakarnania. Its idyllic beaches face the Corinthian gulf; its mountain attractiveness encompasses Nafpaktia; its rich history is reflected on two fabulous monuments, the Venetian castle and the Venetian port.
