Benefit both humans and nature

We BUILT with Nature

Living seawalls, a prominent feature in our coastal landscapes, often fail to incorporate habitats for indigenous marine creatures. Typically, seawalls possess a uniform and smooth surface that discourages the colonization of organisms. The objective of the living seawalls initiative revolves around formulating research-driven strategies for the future design of marine infrastructure. Advanced manufacturing techniques like 3D printing to reduce costs and enhance the intricacy of habitats. Marine Project collaborates with a team of scientists hailing from the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, UNSW, and Macquarie University to materialize the vision of Living Seawalls.
