Location potential

Dugi Rat, located in the beautiful Splitsko-Dalmatinska županija region, is a coastal gem waiting to be discovered. Situated in the heart of Dalmatia, this location offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. The region’s stunning landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and warm Mediterranean climate make it a prime destination for tourists seeking an authentic Adriatic experience.

Dugi Rat’s strategic coastal position and connection to the Adriatic Sea provide a unique advantage for those interested in nautical tourism. With its picturesque surroundings and rich historical heritage, the region has the potential to become a coveted destination for travelers from near and far.

The adoption of the Urban Development Plan for the Dalmatia tourist zone in this area has paved the way for promising investment opportunities, especially in the maritime and tourism sectors.

Project description

The “Dalmacija Marina” project, spanning an impressive 10 hectares of both land and sea, is set to transform the coastal landscape of Dugi Rat. This visionary project aims to establish a world-class nautical tourism destination that can accommodate up to 350 vessels.

One of the marina’s standout features is its substantial sea draft of 10 meters, allowing for the mooring of boats and yachts with deeper drafts. This feature opens up opportunities for larger vessels, catering to a diverse range of maritime enthusiasts.

The existence of the Urban Development Plan for the Dalmatia tourist zone in the vicinity ensures that all necessary prerequisites for obtaining a location permit are met, making this an attractive prospect for investors and developers looking to participate in the region’s burgeoning tourism and maritime industries.

Investors and stakeholders are encouraged to explore this promising opportunity in Dugi Rat, as the “Dalmacija Marina” project holds significant potential for growth and success in the dynamic Splitsko-Dalmatinska županija region.

Project realization model

The construction and commercial use of the Dalmacija nautical tourism port, i.e. the maritime property, is granted in concession for a period of 30 years, counting from the day of the conclusion of the concession contract. The concessionaire will be selected based on a public tender announced by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Preparatory activities are being carried out for the purpose of calling for a public call for tenders for the award of a concession on maritime property.
