The adoption of the Urban Development Plan of Garma Ravnica in the vicinity has fulfilled all the prerequisites for obtaining a location permit, streamlining the development process for this project.

Project description

The “Garma Marina” project envisions the creation of a dynamic nautical tourism destination with an anticipated capacity of approximately 200 moorings. Spanning both land and sea, this marina will offer a serene and picturesque setting for moored vessels.

With its generous sea depth of 3-4 meters, Garma Marina accommodates boats and yachts of various sizes, making it an attractive choice for maritime enthusiasts.
Thanks to the adoption of the Urban Development Plan of Garma Ravnica and the completed environmental impact assessment study, all prerequisites for obtaining a location permit have been met. This streamlined process will facilitate organized and efficient development, making the project even more appealing to investors and stakeholders interested in participating in the thriving tourism and maritime industries of Omiš.

It’s worth noting that in 2019, the trading company TURISTIČKI CVIJET d.o.o. developed an environmental impact assessment study for the construction of the marina, further highlighting the commitment to responsible and sustainable development.

Project realization model

The construction and commercial use of the Garma nautical tourism port, i.e. the maritime property, is granted in concession for a period of 30 years, counting from the day of the conclusion of the concession contract. The concessionaire will be selected based on a public tender announced by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Preparatory activities are being carried out for the purpose of calling for a public call for tenders for the award of a concession on maritime property.
