The spatial development plan of the Municipality of Šolta envisions the construction of the nautical tourism port of Šešula, with a maximum capacity of 80 berths.

For the area in question, the Urban Plan for the arrangement of the hospitality and tourism purpose of Šešul (tourist settlement T2) and the port of nautical tourism-marina was adopted, which fulfilled all the prerequisites for obtaining a location permit.

The “Maslinica-Šešula Marina” project envisions the establishment of a dynamic nautical tourism destination with a planned capacity of 80 berths. The exact size of the marina is yet to be determined, offering flexibility for potential investors and developers.
With a sea draft ranging from 3 to 4 meters, Maslinica-Šešula Marina accommodates boats and yachts of various sizes, catering to a wide range of maritime enthusiasts.

The adoption of the Urban Plan for the arrangement of the hospitality and tourism purpose of Šešul and the port of nautical tourism-marina underscores the readiness for the project’s development. Project realization model

The construction and commercial use of the Maslinica-Šešula nautical tourism port, i.e. the maritime property, is granted in concession for a period of 30 years, counting from the day of the conclusion of the concession contract. The concessionaire will be selected based on a public tender announced by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Preparatory activities are being carried out for the purpose of calling for a public call for tenders for the award of a concession on maritime property.
