The Spatial Development Plan of the Municipality of Šolta envisions the construction of the nautical tourism harbor Nečujam-Rakotina, with a maximum capacity of 120 berths.

As a precondition for the further implementation of the project, in accordance with the spatial plan, it is necessary to adopt an Urban Development Plan for the subject area. This planning process will determine the exact size and layout of the future marina, ensuring responsible and organized development.

Project description

The “Nečujam-Rakotina Marina” project envisions the establishment of a vibrant nautical tourism destination with a planned capacity of 120 berths. This marina, with the exact size yet to be determined, is designed to provide a serene setting for moored vessels.
With a sea draft ranging from 2 to 3 meters, Nečujam-Rakotina Marina accommodates boats and yachts of various sizes, offering flexibility for maritime enthusiasts.

The adoption of an Urban Development Plan for the subject area is a crucial prerequisite for the further implementation of the project. This planning process will determine the layout, infrastructure, and amenities of the marina, ensuring it aligns with local regulations and seamlessly integrates into the natural surroundings.

Project realization model

The construction and commercial use of the Nečujam-Rakotina nautical tourism port, i.e. the maritime property, is granted in concession for a period of 30 years, counting from the day of the conclusion of the concession contract. The concessionaire will be selected based on a public tender announced by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Preparatory activities are being carried out for the purpose of calling for a public call for tenders for the award of a concession on maritime property.
