Project description

The vision for Pakoštane’s transformation into a premier nautical tourism destination is rooted in the visionary Spatial Development Plan of the Pakoštane Municipality. This forward-looking plan outlines the construction of a state-of-the-art nautical tourism port within the town, featuring berths suitable for vessels with draft depths of approximately 2 meters and less then 200 moorings.

Central to the success of this project is the implementation of UPU 1e, an Urban Development Plan that will govern the construction and spatial layout of the nautical tourism port. This comprehensive plan will establish precise regulations and guidelines necessary for the establishment, operation, and sustainable management of the port.

Project realization model

The construction and commercial use of the Pakoštane nautical tourism port, i.e. the maritime property, is granted in concession for a period of 30 years, counting from the day of the conclusion of the concession contract. The concessionaire will be selected based on a public tender announced by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Preparatory activities are being carried out for the purpose of calling for a public call for tenders for the award of a concession on maritime property.
