Location potential
Vis, with its Parja-Rogačić Marina, is a coastal gem with immense potential for nautical tourism development. Located on the captivating island of Vis, this destination offers an enchanting blend of natural beauty and cultural allure. The region’s pristine landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and year-round Mediterranean climate make it an ideal destination for travelers seeking an authentic Adriatic experience.
Parja-Rogačić Marina’s strategic coastal location and connection to the Adriatic Sea make it a prime candidate for becoming a prominent nautical tourism hub. Whether it’s the breathtaking coastal scenery or the rich historical sites, Vis has all the elements to attract tourists from around the world.
To fully harness the potential of this location, the passing of an Urban Planning and Development Plan is a critical prerequisite. This plan will pave the way for the organized and efficient development of the port open to public traffic and the nautical tourism port Parja-Rogačić.
Project description
The “Parja-Rogačić Marina” project envisions the creation of a vibrant nautical tourism destination, with an anticipated capacity of approximately 250 moorings. While the exact size of the marina is currently unknown, it is designed to provide a serene and picturesque setting for moored vessels.
One of the marina’s notable features is its accommodating sea draft, with depths ranging from 2 to 4 meters. This flexibility allows for the mooring of vessels of varying sizes, making it an attractive choice for maritime enthusiasts.
For the further implementation of the project, the passing of an Urban Planning and Development Plan is essential. These plans will streamline the process, serving as a crucial prerequisite for organized development, and make the project more appealing to investors and stakeholders interested in participating in the burgeoning tourism and maritime industries of Vis.
Investors and developers are encouraged to explore the “Parja-Rogačić Marina” project, as it holds significant potential for growth and success in the captivating island of Vis. This opportunity combines natural beauty, strategic location, and essential urban planning, making it an enticing prospect for those seeking to enter the nautical tourism sector in this picturesque destination.
Project realization model
The construction and commercial use of the Parja-Rogacic nautical tourism port, i.e. the maritime property, is granted in concession for a period of 30 years, counting from the day of the conclusion of the concession contract. The concessionaire will be selected based on a public tender announced by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Preparatory activities are being carried out for the purpose of calling for a public call for tenders for the award of a concession on maritime property.
