The island of Pašman, a gem in the Adriatic Sea, offers a unique blend of natural beauty and historical charm. One of its exceptional coastal areas is Ždrelac, a picturesque settlement with a rich maritime heritage. Ždrelac’s idyllic location, nestled between the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic and the lush greenery of the island, creates an inviting atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
The Spatial Development Plan of Pašman municipality has set its sights on enhancing the allure of Ždrelac by envisioning the construction of a nautical tourism port in this stunning coastal town. This visionary project aims to provide a modern and well-equipped harbor for maritime enthusiasts, with vessels having draft depths ranging from 2 to 3.5 meters.
To bring this project to life, the implementation of UDP 7 is crucial—the UDP of the coastal and harbor development around the bay of St. Luka. This Urban Development Plan will outline the guidelines and regulations for the expansion and management of the harbor in Ždrelac.
Ždrelac’s strategic location, along with its rich maritime history, makes it an ideal destination for nautical tourism. The proposed nautical tourism port will not only serve as a safe haven for boats but also contribute to the economic growth and development of the island of Pašman.
Visitors to Ždrelac will have the opportunity to explore its charming coastal town, enjoy its pristine beaches, and delve into the island’s culture and traditions. With the addition of a modern nautical tourism port, Ždrelac is poised to become a sought-after destination for sailors and travelers seeking an authentic island experience.
As Pašman continues to embrace its role as an island paradise in the Adriatic, the nautical tourism port project in Ždrelac represents a significant step forward in expanding the island’s horizons. This project promises to provide not only economic benefits but also a gateway to the island’s natural wonders and cultural heritage for all who choose to visit.
Project realization model
