Marina des Minimes is situated in the city of La Rochelle in the province of Poitou-Charentes and is one of the largest marinas in the world. The marina has 3600 berths in total all with direct access to electricity and around around half with direct access to fresh water.
The marina has shipyard facilities in the form of a 150 tonne capacity travel lift, electrical and mechanical marine workshops, sail maker, nautical supplies and designated areas of hard standing. The marina has a fuel station on site as well as bar, restaurant, bakery and sanitary facilities. There is also parking available, including spaces for trailers and visitors are well placed to explore the historic city of La Rochelle and the Île d’Orléan.
