Marina Planais is a small marina offering 47 berths but its primary purpose is as a shipyard facility.
The marina offers complimentary services which include preparation for RINA testing, overhauling of rafts and self-inflatables, fire extinguishers and self-extinguishing systems, renewal of documentation and certification, general internal cleaning, sanitizing, bilge washing, hazardous waste disposal and external boat washing.
Other extensive facilities include: 40,000 square meters of space, 7,000 of which are covered, 5.000 square meters of technical basin with current and water, 1 towing tank up to 8 metres wide with 110 tonne capacity travel lift, 1 14 metre crane with maximum capacity of 4.5 tonnes, 2 trolleys for boat handling up to 100 tonnes, 1 water slide for towable boats, 2 electric pantograph trestles up to 14 metres, a mechanical workshop, a marine/paint shop able to work on all surfaces, an electrician specializing in marine equipment, marine electronics and accessories, a carpenter’s shop capable of fabricating parts and pieces, a sail maker working with both traditional materials and latest generation fabrics and a nautical upholsterer.
