Marina Puerto Chico – Puerto Rico – Caribbean
Marina Puerto Chico is located on the north east coast of Puerto Rico, in the Fajardo district, an international yachting center with many watersports facilities.
The waters here are teeming with marine life, making them an ideal destination for catamaran cruises, sailing, fishing charters, and snorkeling and diving excursions. There are several uninhabited islands offshore.
North of the marina is Seven Seas beach, with soft sand and almond and palm trees that provide some protection from the sun. Hiking around Laguna Aguas Prietas will lead you to the secluded beaches Playa Escondida and Playa Colora. Another nearby attraction is El Yunque National Forest, the only subtropical rainforest in the United States. Its incredible biodiversity can be explored through a variety of hiking routes.
Just off the coast of Fajardo are numerous small keys, or cayos: Icacos, Ratones and Lobos are prime snorkeling destinations, and Palominitos is a postcard-perfect place.
