The city port, in its present diversity, was formed from a pure fishing port, a ferry port and an area that was used by the military for a long time.

It is no longer used for military purposes today. The ferry service has been relocated to the Sassnitz-Mukran ferry port since 1998.

In its existing diversity, our city harbor offers fishermen, authorities, shipping companies, private users and many others a safe point of contact.

Museum, snack and restaurant ships have found a permanent berth with us.

Numerous commercial areas are available to businesses to revitalize the port. Some artists have their studios with us, but also sales exhibitions.
