Mercator Marina – Belgium – North Sea
The Mercator Marina is located in the heart of Ostend. The center offers many culinary and cultural opportunities. In addition, you also have the shopping streets that lead to the Marina. If you come by car, you will be guided directly to the center via the E 40 with numerous peripheral parking spaces. If you come by public transport, you will arrive just next to the harbour.
The Mercator Marina is right in the center of the city, next to the biggest shopping street in Ostend, the “Kapellestraat”, and 50m from a large supermarket conveniently situated by the harbour (50m).
Marinas participate to the economic development of nautical industry and tourism in all countries. Belgium, North of France, the Netherlands, England are very attractive as sailing areas in the North sea. So as to develop the sailing activity from and to these countries, the following marinas have decided a partnership agreement dedicated to their berth holders. They create the first «North sea sailing route» which encourages sailors to cruise and moor in some dedicated marinas.
