Italian shipyard, Overmarine, has proudly announced the debut of the first unit in its highly anticipated Mangusta Oceano 39 series. Introduced as the entry-level model in the Oceano displacement series, the Mangusta Oceano 39 showcases a revolutionary design concept, created in collaboration with Alberto Mancini and Studio Verme.
With its impressive floor-to-ceiling windows in the main and upper saloons, the Mangusta Oceano 39 offers a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience across its two levels. This “ocean-going glass villa” is characterized by larger volumes than its counterparts, ensuring a spacious and luxurious onboard environment. The shipyard’s decision to develop this model was a direct response to customer demand for a three-deck platform in a smaller size range, distinct from the core entry-level Mangusta 43 model.
Among the notable features of the Mangusta Oceano 39 is its signature infinity pool located on the bow, complete with a partial glass bottom that allows natural light to permeate the master cabin below. The master cabin also boasts its own fold-out balcony, while the lower deck accommodates four additional guest cabins.
Maurizio Balducci, CEO of the Overmarine Group, expressed his pride in seeing the first unit of this innovative model take to the water. He emphasized that the Mangusta Oceano 39 offers extensive glazed surfaces to establish a strong connection with the sea, complemented by minimized supporting structures and bulwarks.
Equipped with twin MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines delivering 1,700 horsepower, the first Mangusta Oceano 39 achieves a cruising speed of 12 knots, a top speed of 16 knots, and an impressive range of up to 2,600 nautical miles. Additionally, owners seeking higher speeds can opt for a more powerful power package featuring twin 2,600hp engines, enabling a top speed of 20 knots.
Construction has already commenced on the second hull, and the third unit, hull number three, is now available for sale, with an estimated delivery date set for November 2024. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the ultimate in luxury and performance with the Mangusta Oceano 39.
