DESCRIPTION
With a silhouette inspired by a modern jet fighter aircraft, stunning 51-metre superyacht Irisha turns heads. Powered by twin diesel engines and capable of an impressive top speed of 25 knots, her signature exterior lines, sleek glass cockpit and distinctive colour scheme ensure she stands out from the crowd, while her luxurious interior design is the ideal setting for charter guests looking for a cutting-edge superyacht experience this season.
Launched in May 2018, Irisha is custom-built by Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts to her owner’s very specific requirements. Breaking the mould for yachts of her size range, Irisha is a semi-displacement yacht with a truly unique design which goes way beyond the boundaries of anything Heesen has built before. Constructed by the dedicated team of craftsmen and builders at Heesen’s Oss yard in the Netherlands, Irisha combines state-of-the-art design with impeccable Dutch craftmanship to create the ultimate modern charter yacht.
Built entirely from aluminium, she features an eye-catching exterior designed by the UK-based Harrison Eidsgaard studio. Her hull is painted in a stunning custom colour from the Alexseal premium range, her superstructure is painted in Snow White, main deck in Noble Blue and the hull in Metallic Pacific Blue. Irisha’s most outstanding feature is without a doubt, her all-glass cockpit which sweeps from the tender bay forward to halfway along the sundeck. An extremely complex brief, the bridge is a masterpiece of design and construction evoking a sense of speed and giving Irisha a very powerful presence on the water.
In addition to designing Irisha’s exteriors, the Harrison Eidsgaard team were also responsible for styling her breath-taking interior. Spacious and bright with plenty of natural light, the focal point of Irisha’s interior living space is a dramatic sweeping atrium staircase which connects the upper and lower decks. Her versatile layout offers guests a seamless flow between the interior and exterior living space, ideal for socialising, entertaining or simply relaxing with friends and family. The main deck is dedicated to the formal reception and is characterised by a connection between indoor and outdoor. Sliding glass doors protect the aft deck which becomes a ‘winter garden’. This delightful indoor-outdoor living room is air-conditioned and can be fully enjoyed even late in the season. Once the doors between the ‘winter garden’ and the dining saloon are open, guests can enjoy a stunning 8-metrelong saloon, ideal for formal dining with an extendable imperial dining table that seats from up to 14 to an impressive 22 guests.
The sky lounge is equipped with a cinema screen and projector located opposite the U-shaped lounge sofa and armchairs and is served by a wet bar. A built-in lounge chair next to the large window is the perfect spot for reading and relaxing with breathtaking vistas.
With 5 beautifully-appointed staterooms including a sumptuous master suite, Irisha is capable of accommodating up to 10 guests overnight. Located on the main deck, the mastersuite is accessed via a private study furnished with an exquisite cantilevered, custom-designed desk. Plenty of natural light floods the work space thanks to two large windows. A French balcony with sliding glass doors draws fresh air into the mastersuite. The bedhead is a hand-felted silk artwork by Claudy Jongstra. His and hers walk-in dressing rooms with wash basins lead into the shared bathroom, with a central freestanding wengé bathtub and double therapy shower. The remaining guest staterooms are located on the lower deck and include two double cabins and two twin cabins. The twin rooms can transform as a full-beam VIP suite with a double bed and lounge area as required thanks to a sliding partition.
Featuring several lounge and dining areas, Irisha’s expansive exterior has been beautifully designed as an outdoor living space. Top up your tan from the comfort of your lounger on the 13-metre long sundeck with a sunbathing area aft of the hot tub, an adjacent seating area with adjustable dining table for informal dining while forward is a bar with high stools. Forward on the main deck, a built-in settee is protected by a hydraulically driven canopy that creates a wind-sheltered outdoor space ideal for relaxing in privacy. In the bow, a second seating area is the ideal place for admiring the views. A wellness area, complete with sauna and massage table is located in the beach club. Whatever you plan to do during your charter, Irisha will be the perfect backdrop to your holiday.
Stunningly presented, Irisha has a 9-person crew onboard to keep everything running smoothly. Highly experienced and dedicated to providing the very highest standard of service, the crew will be on hand throughout your holiday to ensure you and your guests enjoy the ultimate luxury charter experience.
