Freshly launched in 2016, this flagship catamaran is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and top-of-the-line design, ensuring an unparalleled experience for discerning travelers. Outfitted with a custom carbon fiber mast and boom, Kevlar standing rigging, and extended hulls and keels, Some Kind of Wonderful excels in speed, agility, and strength, promising swift and seamless journeys, whether propelled by sail or power.
Boasting an impressive overall length of 72 feet and a beam of 31 feet, Some Kind of Wonderful captivates with its sleek profile, elegant demeanor, and expansive interiors. Previously a privately owned vessel professionally crewed, it now joins the charter fleet in 2023, ready to offer a new level of indulgence.
The luxuriously appointed interior of Some Kind of Wonderful is designed for endless socializing, featuring vast spaces above and below deck. With multiple dining, living, sunbathing, and lounging areas, guests can curate timeless memories in this spectacular retreat. The salon, adorned with large windows offering panoramic views, exudes an open and airy ambiance. An inviting sofa and a large cinema screen make it a perfect space for relaxation and entertainment. The open galley, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, fine porcelain tableware, and elegant glassware, ensures culinary delights throughout the journey.
The exterior is equally impressive, with the exceptionally large flybridge stealing the spotlight. Dual access points facilitate safe movement, and the ample space allows guests to be close to the sailing action. The flybridge boasts an oversized c-shaped sofa, cocktail tables, bench seats, lounge/day beds, and a versatile awning. The substantial aft deck, shaded by the flybridge, offers additional seating, lounge/daybeds, and an elegant setting for formal dining. The foredeck features lounge/daybeds, bow pulpit seats, and trampolines for a serene lounging experience.
Accommodating eight guests in four cabins, Some Kind of Wonderful ensures a restful retreat. The primary suite with a king-size bed, two queen suites, and twin beds convertible to a king upon request provide comfort and privacy. Each cabin features a private ensuite bathroom, independent air-conditioning, and top-quality linens.
For adventurous water enthusiasts, Some Kind of Wonderful provides an array of new water toys, including stand-up paddleboards, double kayaks, a 360 hangout, snorkel gear, kneeboard, tube, water skis, and more. The extended tender platform doubles as a swim platform for easy access to water activities. Scuba diving enthusiasts will find an exceptional experience with a complete set of top-of-the-line equipment, guided by Captain Jake, a PADI certified Dive instructor, and Chef Stef, a PADI certified Dive Master.
