Azimut Yachts‘ new 70-foot S7 is available as either a flybridge or a coupe. The new model has a fiberglass hull and carbon fiber superstructure. The immediate benefits of this design are less overall weight and a lower center of gravity, which should help her ride and performance. And since a carbon fiber superstructure requires less material than a traditional fiberglass one, there should be increased internal volume.

Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture created her hull form in collaboration with Azimut Yachts. Stefano Righini designed her exterior and Francesco Guida penned her interior, which has two options: Décor Perla Nera or Décor Platino. Translated, these two options are called Black Pearl and Platinum. The difference between them is simple: Décor Perla Nera has dark-colored accents, like black cabinetry, while Décor Platino has light-color accents, like tan bulkheads.

Powered with triple 800 hp Volvo Penta IPS1050s, the S7 is expected to make 35-knots-plus at wide-open throttle. Joystick driving should make close-quarter handling a breeze.
