7 Days Itinerary

WELCOME ON BOARD

Measuring 27km long and 8km wide, Mahe, the principal island is a mountainous, granitic island that boasts no less than 65 beaches. It is home to the capital, Victoria, and also to the international airport and to the vast majority of the 93,000, mainly Roman Catholic population. Commanding spectacular views of the surrounding ocean, Mahe contains the lion’s share of the archipelago’s hotels tourism amenities, retail outlets as and yacht for charter. The charming capital, Victoria, has many fascinating nooks & crannies and points of historical interest including its bustling market that supplies much of the island’s fresh produce.

MAHE - ST. ANNE MARINE PARK

Sainte Anne Marine National Park comprises 6 islands off the northeast coast of Mahé Island, Seychelles. The islands are known for their beaches, luxury resorts and Creole restaurants. Snorkelers on reefs can enjoy a hosts of corals of all shapes, sizes and colours. Ste. Anne Marine National Park contains one of the largest area of seagrass meadows in the granitic islands and it is not uncommon to see green turtles feeding on them. Visitors might even have the opportunity to swim with hawksbill turtles or watch bottle nose dolphins cruising, for a truly memorable experience.

ST. ANNE MARINE PARK - ANSE LAZIO

Anse Lazio is a beach situated in the northwest of Praslin Island, Seychelles, considered by Lonely Planet to be the “best beach on Praslin”, and one of the “best in the archipelago”. For many people, the first time they see Anse Lazio, the moment takes their breath away. The perfect combination of sun, sea, and sand make it an incredible beach by anyone’s definition. The beach is also excellent for snorkelling, with great visibility in the crystal-clear water, and is equally well-suited to families thanks to the large, sandy areas where children can play.
In terms of facilities, there are small shops and a few restaurants at each end of the beach where you can enjoy lunch or dinner if you wish. There is also an interesting bar called the Honesty Bar, which employs no waiters, waitresses, or barmen. Customers simply help themselves, then pay for what they took. This bar overlooks a small cove, making it a great place for a relaxing, refreshing drink or two after a day at the beach.

ANSE LAZIO - CURIEUSE ISLAND

Curieuse Island is a small granitic island 1.13 sq mi in the Seychelles close to the north coast of the island of Praslin. Curieuse is notable for its bare red earth intermingled with the unique coco de mer palms, one of the cultural icons of the Seychelles, only growing on the two neighboring islands. The surrounding waters are home to a rich array of marine life and are strictly protected, eastern coast of Curieuse is a popular diving spot with an abundance of fish. he island is regularly visited by nesting sea turtles, which return each year to lay their eggs on Curieuse beaches. During the nesting period, a large number of small turtles can be seen outside the remains of the causeway at Baie Laraie.

CURIEUSE ISLAND - BAIE ST. ANNE

Continue east along Praslin’s coast, passing stunningly beautiful and secluded Anse La Blague, one of the longest beaches on Praslin. You’ll follow the gentle curve of the coast and turn east into Baie St. Anne, a lovely bay crowned by a sleepy little town of the same name spread attractively along the waterfront. The town is filled with shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the scenic Anse Madge beach, an ideal place to relax.

BAIE ST. ANNE - LA PASSE, LA DIGUE

The main attraction of this tranquil paradise is the unspoiled beaches – with their caster-sugar sand and turquoise waters. The calm waters of the north and west coasts are ideal for snorkelling, whilst the pristine reefs offshore, rich in aquatic life, are a big draw for scuba divers. So when you’re not relaxing on the beach or snorkelling in the crystal clear waters, there are breath-taking views from atop Nid d’Aigle, a bird sanctuary, coconut plantation, horse riding, fishing and some of the most stunning sunsets you’ll ever see!  The centre of activity is in La Passe where the jetty, banks, shops and majority of services can be found.

LA PASSE, LA DIGUE - BEAU VALLON

On the north west coast of Mahe is the resort of Beau Vallon. Beau Vallon bay, the island’s most famous and popular beach. One of the longest beaches in the Seychelles, Beau Vallon is popular amongst tourists and locals thanks to its mixture of beautiful scenery, extensive activity options, fantastic surrounding infrastructure, and widespread appeal. The sunsets here are out of this world, and the glassy-smooth water reflects the light beautifully.
