Marina Villefranche-Darse
The Port of Villefranche Darse is an ensemble of an exceptionally historic character. It is located at the bottom of the bay of Villefranche, in the western part of the Citadel and is sheltered from all winds.
Fortified in the 14th century, the natural port of Darse was completed in the 18th century with the towers Lazaretto, Cords and Radoub basin allowing yachts to park on dry dock and facilitates the delicate work in the traditional units.
Declared a historical monument in 1990, the port has preserved the legacy of its history. Covering an area of 6.5 hectares, including 3.4 hectares of water, 800 linear meters of quays and 540 linear meters of pontoons, the port of Villefranche Darse carries out two major activities: boating and ship repairing.
Here, the accommodation is always assured for sailing boats up to 35 meters long. The Port Villefranche Darse entices skippers looking for a picturesque, friendly and well protected place to moor.
