Shamrock Quay – United Kingdom – North Sea / Baltic Sea

Shamrock Quay is a marina steeped in history, taking its name from the famous J-class yacht, Shamrock V, which was built on this site in 1931 to challenge for the America’s Cup.

The 255-berth marina is still a major centre for refit and boat building with many specialist trades on site, as well as a café, shops and The Bistro Shamrock Quay bar and restaurant. It has a 70 metre superyacht berth, a 60 metre visitor berth and a modern shower and toilet block including disabled facilities, Shamrock Quay is able to cater for all boat owners.

Shamrock Quay boatyard has all you need to carry out maintenance work or repairs on your boat. Besides storage ashore for over 200 boats, there is a 75-ton travel hoist and a 47-ton boat mover. All lifting at the yard is carried out by MDL’s professional, highly qualified team. There are also over 40 companies on site offering a wide variety of specialist services ranging from sail makers and engineers to a well-stocked chandlery.
