Introducing the Unveiling of the World’s Largest Sportfishing Yacht
Set to make waves in Amsterdam, Royal Huisman’s extraordinary creation, Project 406, stands as a monumental feat in sportfishing yacht design. This six-deck marvel, crafted entirely from aluminum, stretches an impressive 171 feet, setting a new standard in luxury and performance!
Since its inception, Project 406 has captured the imagination of enthusiasts worldwide. While the finer details and interior splendor remain shrouded in secrecy, Royal Huisman confirms that the vessel is nearing its grand debut, poised for launch in Amsterdam! According to the shipyard, a dedicated team of over 350 skilled craftsmen has dedicated the past three years to bring this vision to life.
With its commanding length of 171 feet, Project 406 eclipses its counterparts in the custom sport-fishing realm by a substantial margin. Surpassing the likes of the 144-foot Trinity Bad Company, the 130-foot McMullen & Wing Mea Culpa, and the 129-foot Yachting Developments Lanakai, this masterpiece redefines the boundaries of maritime excellence! From its inception in 2021, Royal Huisman CEO Jan Timmerman hailed Project 406 as ‘the world’s first true sport-fish superyacht’, while Vripack co-creative director Bart M. Bouwhuis described it as ‘a sport-fisher on steroids’, cementing its status as an icon of innovation and prowess!
